Pink Bunchy Sleeve blazer

First, I love the colour. The size XS fit is a good fit, with one important exception: The nape of the neck does not lay flat so I will be taking it to my tailor for adjustments. The style is interesting, casual, yet the cut resembles a tuxedo, but has no front closure which would add a dimension of elegance to its casual style. I received the jacket folded for shipping - the fabric is viscose (dry clean only) so I hung it for a few days thinking the wrinkles would disappear but not so. I gently ironed it without any problem, steamed the bunchy sleeves, but they've remained a little too wrinkled for my liking so I have yet to decide how best to approach the sleeves without actually buying an clothes steamer and taking it into the cleaners to have it pressed. I may have to give in and buy a steamer. All-in-all, I'm quite pleased with the purchase marred only by the fit at the nape of the neck which is one big "tell" in terms of quality and the remaining wrinkles in the bunchy sleeves.

This is my first Hilary Radley jacket. A couple of points: First, at 5'8", 96 pounds, finding a fit - even as an XS - is a challenge. This jacket is one of the best fits I've found. I may have the shoulders raised a little, but only very slightly. I would prefer a jacket closure but then, on the other hand, the absence of closure adds to its versatility. Second, I was concerned about the shade of pink: On the one hand, the photo shows the jacket as a hot pink, yet when the colour is displayed at purchase, the pink appears very pale. The jacket, is, however, as pictured in the photo - an absolutely beautiful shade of hot pink! Love it! And, I'd love to see a deep purple colour option!
